A large scale fast paced logistics company have a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join their expanding Transport Team. Offering an excellent salary and company package.

Key Responsibilities of the Transport Supervisor:

- To manage a team of 120 drivers and Transport Office Staff

- Lead, motivate and develop an existing Transport Team

- Oversee all day to day tasks and deal with issues efficiently

- Communicate issues or schedule changes, directly to client

- To carry out regular audits of Transport Department

- Monitor, track and report cost trends

- Continuously improve Transport processes

- Maintain all KPI targets

- To work effectively with Senior Managers

- Maintain Health and Safety, and compliance with laws and regulations

- Ensure drivers are compliant within their driver hours/laws

Your Requirements:

- Confidence in managing teams of Drivers and Transport workers

- Proficient Communication skills both written and verbal

- Confident in speaking to customers and clients

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Proactive attitude to act on issues before they develop further

- Commercial Awareness

- Strong employee engagement skills

- Planning and Organising skills

- Flexible attitude

- CPC and HGV License not essential but would be beneficial
