A leading food manufacturing business based in the Chester area with hybrid working are looking for a Supply Planner to join their team for an excellent opportunity. As Supply Planner you will be responsible for executing short and long term supply plans for your given area. You will need to be a confident planner with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and capable of working in a fast paced environment.

About the role:

• Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans
• Meet your KPIs including (but not limited to) meeting or exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels and meeting waste objectives
• Perform root-cause analysis for continuous improvement of the plan
• Maintain the integrity of system data and information for supply planning
• Deliver master and detailed schedules and long-range plans and material requirement plans by using system tools
• Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste reduction to meet company KPIs

About the person:

• Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent
• Deep and detailed supply or production planning experience
• Experience working within a fast paced environment - food would be preferable
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• SAP experience would be desirable
• Strong Excel knowledge
