The role of Marketing Manager EMEA is to lead the marketing activities across the entire EMEA region. With support from the global marketing team, you will be required to take on strategic ownership of marketing in the EMEA region, while also getting involved in tactical marketing activities spanning, events, demand generation campaigns, communications, digital marketing and collateral development. This is a 4 month fixed term contract, based in London.
The Marketing Manager will be required to manage local sales and stakeholders and act as the conduit into global marketing, product marketing and communications teams and will report into the Global Head of Marketing.
Below are some of the key responsibilities of the position:
Stakeholder & Strategic Management
You will be highly visible across the region and will be required to bring fresh ideas into the role while inspiring team members and maintaining strong agency relationships.
The Marketing Manager EMEA will take full ownership of the marketing plan and budget for the region and will be responsible for delivering on agreed objectives.
The Marketing Manager EMEA will be required to develop and manage the events plan to help support sales pipeline objectives. This includes the review, selection and negotiation of events including trade shows, seminars, roundtables and existing customer forums.
The Marketing Manager EMEA is responsible for executing the demand generation programmes to attract new sales leads, nurture prospects and communicate effectively with existing customers across both online and offline channels.
Content & Collateral Development
The Marketing Manager EMEA will be required to work closely with the Head of Product Marketing to develop a ‘sales toolkit’ for use within the EMEA countries as required. This includes the localisation of internal facing tools such as sales playbooks, battle-cards, presentations, ROI tools, web content, product overviews and external campaign assets including whitepapers, best practice guides, case studies and video.
You will be required to keep up to date on competitor news, product releases and marketing activity and provide analysis on how this may impact the wider business within the EMEA region. This information should be shared on a timely manner with colleagues via internal communications and enterprise social media platforms.
You will be required to support strategic sales engagements on an ad hoc basis. This will involve developing bespoke collateral and supporting material for specific customer bids.
- Previously worked within a marketing management role
- Understanding of the Telecommunications industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and interest in B2B and technology marketing
- Examples of conducting successful marketing campaigns
- Understanding of events management
- Understanding of working within global/cross-functional teams within a matrix organisational structure
