A fast-growing UK consumer brand is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and deliver all marketing activity across the German market. This is a great opportunity to join a profitable, scaling business in the consumer products space that has grown from £25M to £60M in revenue and is now entering its next phase of international expansion.

Contract: Full time permanent (Immediately available contractors will also be considered with day rate pay)

A fast-growing UK consumer brand is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and deliver all marketing activity across the German market.

This is a great opportunity to join a profitable, scaling business in the consumer products space that has grown from £25M to £60M in revenue and is now entering its next phase of international expansion.

The company has built a strong reputation with UK consumers and is stocked by major national retailers including Argos, John Lewis and Currys, alongside a growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce channel.

With new private investment secured, the business is now investing heavily in ecommerce, brand and international growth. The plan is to triple revenue over the coming years, launching into new European markets starting with Germany.

This role will play a key part in that expansion, translating global marketing strategy into locally relevant execution, while building brand awareness and driving commercial performance in the German market.

Role Overview:

Reporting into the Marketing Director, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of all marketing activity in Germany, ensuring campaigns are effectively localised and executed across multiple channels.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic thinking with strong execution. You’ll oversee day-to-day marketing operations in Germany, manage one direct report (Marketing Executive), and work closely with external agencies and internal teams to deliver impactful marketing activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the marketing strategy for Germany, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives
  • Localising and adapting global marketing campaigns for the German market
  • Managing end-to-end campaign execution across digital, brand and retail channels
  • Leading retail-focused marketing initiatives and collaborating with retail partners
  • Developing retail toolkits, POS materials and joint marketing campaigns
  • Working closely with the Sales team to align marketing with commercial priorities
  • Managing and developing one direct report (Marketing Executive)
  • Briefing and managing external agencies across PPC, PR and SEO
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Sales, Ecommerce, Product and Customer Service
  • Tracking marketing performance and reporting insights to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting budget planning and ensuring marketing spend is managed effectively

Candidate Criteria:

This role would suit a commercially minded marketing leader with strong experience managing multi-channel marketing activity, ideally within a consumer or retail-led business.

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, including leadership or team management experience
  • Strong understanding of core marketing channels including digital, content, email, paid media and social
  • Experience delivering retail-focused marketing activity
  • Experience managing agencies and working with cross-functional teams
  • Confident using data and performance insights to guide marketing decisions
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
