A fast-growing UK consumer brand is looking for an Ecommerce Executive to support the day-to-day running of its Shopify websites. This is a great opportunity to join a profitable, scaling business in the consumer products space that has grown from £25M to £60M in revenue and is now entering its next phase of expansion.
Title: Ecommerce Executive (Shopify)
Location: Surrey – near Woking (2 days in office / 3 days from home)
Salary: £35,000 -£40,000 DOE
Contract: Full time permanent (day rate contractors will be considered too if immediately available)
A fast-growing UK consumer brand is looking for an Ecommerce Executive to support the day-to-day running of its Shopify websites.
This is a great opportunity to join a profitable, scaling business in the consumer products space that has grown from £25M to £60M in revenue and is now entering its next phase of expansion.
The company has built a strong reputation with UK consumers and is stocked by major national retailers including Argos, John Lewis and Currys, alongside a growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce channel.
With new private investment secured, the business is now investing heavily in ecommerce, brand and international expansion. The plan is to triple revenue over the coming years, launching into new European markets (starting with Germany) and expanding the product portfolio.
This role will play a key part in supporting the brand’s Shopify ecosystem, with a major website redesign already planned and significant ecommerce growth ahead.
Role Overview:
Reporting into the Senior Ecommerce Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day management of several Shopify stores, helping ensure the websites are well merchandised, accurate and delivering a strong customer experience.
You’ll also support campaigns, product launches and ongoing trading activity as the ecommerce channel continues to scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the management of multiple Shopify stores
- Uploading products, managing variants, pricing and product data
- Ensuring product pages are accurate, optimised and on brand
- Supporting website updates for campaigns, launches and promotions
- Assisting with onsite merchandising including collections and navigation
- Supporting onsite SEO best practice including metadata and page structure
- Identifying usability issues or broken customer journeys
- Supporting basic ecommerce reporting and administration
Candidate Criteria:
This role would suit someone early in their ecommerce career who wants to gain hands-on experience in a growing consumer brand.
- c.1+ year experience working with Shopify
- A basic understanding of ecommerce merchandising and onsite trading
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals
- Experience with product uploads and CMS management
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks across different websites
