Marketing Executive - 3 Month Contract, Watford - Hybrid, Day Rate

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and ambitious organisation, for a Marketing Executive to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on day-to-day marketing activities in their Watford office while contributing to national projects that support members and suppliers across the UK.

This hybrid role requires you to work 3 days per week in the office and offers the chance to make a real impact by owning the local marketing function while collaborating with a wider marketing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Local Marketing Efforts: Act as the first point of contact for all marketing-related queries in Watford.
  • Represent Marketing: Attend member and supplier meetings on behalf of senior team members, providing updates and gathering valuable insights.
  • Coordinate Projects: Manage ad-hoc work requests, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication between teams while aligning with brand and strategic goals.
  • Support Campaigns: Take ownership of specific tasks within larger marketing projects, helping deliver high-quality campaigns that make an impact.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Gather feedback and content ideas from sales colleagues to enhance national marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure Excellence: Stay on top of deadlines, budgets, and quality standards across all marketing outputs.

What We’re Looking For

Our client is seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take responsibility for their work. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within a B2B or membership-based environment.
  • Confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders, members, and suppliers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing tools (social media, email marketing, content creation).
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while staying connected to a wider team.
  • A passion for exploring new AI tools and technologies to drive smarter working practices and growth.
