I have an exciting opportunity for an Marketing & Communications Manager looking to be a part of an industry leading organisation in the heart of London. This company operates a leading institutional electronic trading platform, delivering expanded liquidity opportunities, improved execution quality and significant cost savings across global fixed-income markets. A global network of over 1,700 firms including the world’s leading asset managers and institutional broker-dealers, leverages the company’s patented trading technology to efficiently trade bonds. Drawing on its deep data and analytical resources, the business provides automated trading solutions, market data products and a range of pre- and post-trade services. The headquarters is based in New York and they also cover London, Amsterdam, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, São Paulo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Responsibilities include:
- Marketing support for 1-2 different product areas within the product brand portfolio, including creating & delivering multi channel marketing campaigns, creating marketing content, and supporting sales with relevant product materials.
- Internal communications support for EMEA & APAC teams, including helping to design and deliver a brand-led internal comms approach that supports culture development and team engagement with senior management.
- External media & social engagement – helping to manage day-to-day media relations work with our media agency partners, to monitor and manage EMEA & APAC press opps., to help develop and deliver social media engagement
- Project management and channel management across various team activities
Key skills:
- 5-7 years experience in B2B marketing, preferably within financial services or a related industry
- Broad marketing & communications experience – must have hands-on knowledge of the various disciplines of marcomms, from PR & media relations through to content development, digital channel use, campaign development etc.
- Would suit someone with media / marketing agency experience looking for a move in-house
Personally requirements:
- Excellent writing skills – must be an accomplished business writer / editor and able to create marketing content with impact
- Strong communicator
- Experience working to support executive level stakeholders
- Very good spoken and written English expected, other languages would be an advantage.
