Production Planner (Temporary Contract)

Overview

A fast‑paced manufacturing business is seeking a Production Planner to support end‑to‑end production scheduling and materials planning across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Translate demand information into accurate production plans.
• Coordinate material requirements and capacity availability.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory optimisation.
• Manage planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Support S&OP activities and highlight risks or deviations.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in production planning.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel.
• Ability to manage both short‑ and long‑term planning horizons.
• Strong communication skills across operational teams.
