An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Production Process Engineer to join a leading organisation in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising plant operations, driving continuous improvement and developing efficient production processes. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and quality of production.
What you'll do:
As a Production Process Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency of our client's operations. Your primary focus will be on identifying improvements in production personnel usage, reducing waste, and enabling supervisory teams to lead their teams more effectively. You will also be responsible for managing small-scale capital improvement projects aimed at upgrading equipment, implementing new technologies, or improving plant processes. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all production processes comply with environmental regulations.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Production Process Engineer role is a self-starter who can work independently and drive improvements with minimal supervision. You bring a proven track record of analysing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes. Your familiarity with industrial machinery, chemical processes, automation systems, and production technologies used in galvanizing will be essential for success in this role. Additionally, your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with internal teams from Operator to General Manager level and external suppliers.
