Robert Walters is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Materials Engineer with a leading UK business based in Bristol. The role will be paying up to £70k, offering flexible working and great progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research and development of advanced materials and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
- Champion knowledge capture and dissemination across internal and external networks.
- Appraise and refine proposals to ensure strategic alignment with long-term goals.
- Publish technical content and represent the organisation in industry forums.
About You:
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
- Expertise in ceramic systems and associated processing techniques.
- Experience with chemical vapour deposition/infiltration methods.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
