Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

I'm currently partnered with a market leading manufacturer who are looking for a Field Service Technician to join their UK service team. This role combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction, supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems such as pumps, rotating equipment, and pressure systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Service and maintain equipment on customer sites across the UK and in the Manchester based workshop.
  • Carry out mechanical checks, testing, and commissioning.
  • Prepare work packs and compile detailed technical reports.
  • Provide after-sales support and technical advice.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship (C&G, NVQ Level 3+, ONC, HNC).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings (desirable).
  • Experience with mechanical/electrical systems (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
