Field Service Engineer – Energy Storage Systems (Thurrock)

Location: Thurrock and Southeast England
Type: Permanent or Contract

Robert Walters is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to support a high-growth energy client in Thurrock. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about sustainability and innovation in energy storage.

Duties:

• Maintain and troubleshoot BESS installations.
• Perform software upgrades and monitor system performance.
• Provide remote support and manage spare parts.
• Ensure safety compliance and complete service documentation.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in solar, wind, or BESS projects.
• ECS card and willingness to travel.

Nice to Have:

• HVAC/F-Gas certification, ECS Gold Card.
• HV/LV systems experience and IT/networking knowledge.
