Robert Walters is hiring for a Field Service Engineer to join a rapidly growing energy technology client. This role focuses on maintaining and commissioning Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the Midlands region.

Responsibilities:

• Routine inspections, capacity testing, and reactive maintenance.
• Remote support and diagnostics for BESS sites.
• Safety compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance.

Essential Skills:

• Electrical or electro-mechanical qualification.
• 18th Edition certification and ECS card.
• Experience in renewable energy or multi-skilled maintenance.
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with troubleshooting software.

Preferred:

• BESS or HV/LV experience, HVAC/F-Gas, ECS Gold Card.
• Strong understanding of networking and control protocols.
