Global Managing Director Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Milton Keynes Keywords: Global, Managing Director, Strategic Planning, Operational Responsibility, Continuous Improvement, Team Leadership Robert Walters has been exclusively retained to hire for our client, who is seeking a Global Managing Director to lead their organisation in developing and executing profitable growth strategies. This role will be based in Milton Keynes, with global travel required. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for offices and distribution centres across the globe, including the UK, U.S., South Africa, Australia, China and Germany. They will also be responsible for implementing a long-term strategic plan to expand the company's global customer base and penetrate new markets. * Lead the development and execution of profitable growth strategies * Primary responsibility for offices and distribution centres globally * Implement a long-term strategic plan to expand global customer base
What you'll do:
As a Global Managing Director, your role will be pivotal in leading the organisation towards achieving its overall business financial goals. You will be responsible for managing offices and distribution centres across multiple locations globally. Your excellent strategic planning skills will be utilised in developing a long-term plan to expand our client's global customer base and penetrate new markets. You will also have operational responsibilities to support all assigned export countries. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive enhancements in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Global Managing Director role will bring a wealth of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated problem-solving and people management skills. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be key in managing relationships with various stakeholders. You will have a strong customer orientation and good time management skills. Your ability to align performance for success, manage conflict effectively, make strategic decisions, build trust, plan and organise, and maintain high work standards will be crucial in this role.
