What you'll do:
As a Production Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising plant operations and driving continuous improvement. You will be tasked with analysing and improving the efficiency of the galvanising process while continuously monitoring the production process to ensure it operates within established parameters. Your role will also involve leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Ensuring that the galvanising process meets the highest quality standards will be a key part of your role. You will also work closely with various teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Working with the Operations Manager, production supervisory team and operators to identify improved methods of working.
- Analyse and improve the efficiency of the galvanising process.
- Continuously monitor the production process to ensure it operates within established parameters.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure that the galvanising process meets the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with the operations, HSE, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production throughput, crane utilisation, downtime, and defect rates.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Production Process Engineer role will bring proven experience in analysing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes. You should have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels will be essential in this role.
