Our client is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to elevate their operations and overall efficiency. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a multi-skilled professional with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an exceptionally high standard of building services provision, diagnosing faults, and implementing preventive control systems. This role is based in the vibrant city of Oxford.
What you'll do:
As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's commercial buildings. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety policies, responding to and escalating maintenance issues, developing preventative maintenance schedules, and repairing and refurbishing plant equipment. You will also be responsible for managing site services equipment across the 8000 sq ft site.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Facilities Maintenance Engineer role brings a wealth of experience and technical skills to the table. With at least three years' experience in facilities maintenance under your belt, you have developed a deep understanding of both mechanical and electrical functions. You are computer literate and possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. A FLT driving license would be advantageous but is not essential.
