Quality Control Technician

Robert Walters is working with a growing adhesive company with the recruitment of a Quality Control Technician to join their experienced Corby based team.

This leading global adhesive manufacturer, seeks a Quality Control Technician for its Corby facility in Northamptonshire.

An ideal Quality Control Technician will be responsible for monitoring and recording the quality of materials from the production line, ensuring compliance with specifications.

You will also be responsible for conducting testing in a modern laboratory using advanced equipment.

Normal hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Thurs 9:00 am - 5:30 pm & Fri 9:00am - 4:00pm

Overtime may be required if necessary.

Key Responsibilities


  • First-off visual inspections of products.
  • Acceptance or rejection of materials and finished items.
  • Timely laboratory testing using calibrated equipment.
  • Assist Quality Manager and Head of R&D.

Candidate Requirements


  • QC experience in manufacturing or laboratory roles.
  • Attention to detail, logical approach, ability to read blueprints.
  • Independence and teamwork skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Desire for top-quality products.
  • Familiarity with international quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
