We are a leading company based in Camberley and our team is dedicated to delivering top-notch services to our clients. We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to manage the scheduling of our engineering team.


Role Overview:

As a Service Coordinator you will be in a small team focusing on scheduling engineers, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily schedules of our engineering team, ensuring that client appointments are managed efficiently and effectively.

Your role will involve liaising with clients, engineers, and management to optimise the use of resources, minimise downtime, and ensure timely completion of service requests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer Scheduling: Develop and manage the daily and weekly schedules for a team of engineers, ensuring that all service requests are assigned and completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their service requests, providing updates on scheduling, and addressing any concerns.
  • Resource Optimisation: Ensure optimal allocation of engineering resources based on skill sets, locations, and urgency of client requests.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with engineers regarding their schedules, changes in assignments, and any special instructions.
  • Job Prioritisation: Work with management to prioritise urgent or high-impact jobs, making real-time adjustments to schedules as necessary.
  • Data Management: Keep accurate records of all scheduled jobs, engineer hours, and client interactions using our scheduling software and databases.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute daily and weekly reports on engineering team performance, job completion rates, and any scheduling conflicts.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or issues and work to resolve them before they impact service delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure all scheduled work complies with industry standards, company policies, and relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement in scheduling and resource management.
