About the Role
Working as part of a small but collaborative legal team, you will be given a broad remit of work ensuring that no two days are ever the same. Daily duties will include:
- Partnering with the organisation’s production teams to deliver complex commercial deals, advising on them from inception to completion
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and other third parties in relation to broadcasting, news, sports and corporate content
- Advising the compliance department on the production and distribution of content
- Working alongside stakeholders from all departments to identify and mitigate risk
- Delivering training and support to all areas of the business on relevant changes in legislation
About You
This role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE, although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must possess solid experience in production contracts for broadcasters and brands.
You must display an adaptable working style in order to be able to build relationships with a variety of different stakeholders across the business, as well as taking a commercially-focused approach to risk assessment and deal management.
