Conflicts Lawyer

A top International law firm are seeing a Senior Conflicts lawyer to join their Risk and Compliance team in Leeds or Manchester.

Role responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with lawyers and stakeholders to gather information on conflicts issues and existing client relationships.

• Supporting the identification and resolution of conflicts matters through engagement with relevant stakeholders and senior decision-makers.

• Considering wider commercial, risk and reputational factors as part of the conflicts clearance process.

More generally, the role will also involve:

• Contributing to the development, review and ongoing enhancement of policies and procedures relating to conflicts management and compliance.

• Providing guidance, oversight and support to members of the conflicts and advisory teams, including supervisory and mentoring responsibilities as appropriate.

• Acting as a referral point for complex or sensitive conflicts enquiries and supporting their effective resolution.

Role requirements:

• Must be a qualified lawyer with demonstratable experience managing conflicts of interest in a law firm.
• Ability to work as a team and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
• Can-do attitude and ability to juggle tight deadlines
