Operational Risk Analyst

Operational Risk Analyst role with an international Law Firm. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's operations are secure and risks are effectively managed. You will be responsible for maintaining the firm's risk registers, gathering operational risk-related data from internal or external resources, and conducting statistical analyses to quantify risks. Your role will also involve managing the firm's Third-Party Risk Assessment system and processes.

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to join their Central Management team in Bristol. Day to day responsibilities:

• Carry out reviews of processes or systems to ensure appropriate risk management oversight
• Maintain the firm's risk registers and gather operational risk-related data
• Manage the firm's Third-Party Risk Assessment system and processes
• Support the completion of team-specific risk/control self-assessments and annual assessment reviews
• Assist in analysing the root causes of operational exceptions and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Produce risk-related management information for the Risk committee and Board

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Operational Risk Analyst position will bring a solid understanding of process, risk, and control design concepts from an operational risk management or audit perspective. You should have a working knowledge of professional services organisation operations, preferably within a law firm. Your ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively will be essential in this role. Additionally, your experience in producing standard and ad hoc reports for specific audiences will be highly valued. Good communication skills both written and verbal are required.
