Senior Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join our dynamic Risk & Compliance team. This role offers the flexibility to work from our UK offices. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks including claims handling, complaints management, and policy writing. This is an excellent chance to contribute to a collaborative culture and assist in the development of junior team members.

Responsibilities:

* Assisting the team in claims handling, including liaising with fee earners, insurers, brokers, panel solicitors and other interested parties
* Handling complaints in accordance with the firm's complaint procedures
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to risk related issues
* Assisting our Director of Legal and Commercial Risk with strategic and operational issues
* Advising on queries relating to various legal regulations and liaising with the regulators as necessary
* Reviewing and updating policy writing as necessary
* Collaborating with colleagues and team members across our office locations


Key skills required:

* A qualified Solicitor, with 5+ year's PQE in a similar legal setting
* Background in law firm regulation, solicitors’ PI claims, complaints handling or commercial contract experience
* Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
* Contribution to our collaborative culture
