About the Firm:
Our client, a well-established full-service law firm with offices across the UK, has been delivering comprehensive legal services for over 150 years. Known for their collaborative environment and impressive growth, they are seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with expertise in lease extensions to join their dedicated property team in Birmingham.

Role Overview:
This role is integral to a team of established partners specialising in real estate and development work, particularly in support of housing associations, care homes, private developers, and local authorities. The successful candidate will lead and manage their caseload, covering a variety of property transactions, with a focus on residential lease extensions, sales and acquisitions, and other development-related work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage statutory and voluntary residential lease extensions (acting for both landlords and tenants)
• Conduct street property acquisitions, sales, and auction disposals
• Complete SDLT returns and handle land registration formalities
• Draft full Reports on Title and other key documentation
• Review and report on titles for portfolio acquisitions and handle land transfers
• Provide clients with regular updates and progress reports, managing multiple deadlines
• Support on project-related tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in lease extensions with solid drafting skills
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, including diary management
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse caseload
• Effective communicator with a client-focused approach and proactive mindset
• Familiarity with registered providers (desirable but not essential)
