I am currently working with a well-known Legal 500 firm who are looking to hire a Housing Governance Solicitor to join their collaborative team in their West Midlands office. This opportunity offers great quality work, a competitive salary, hybrid working and a generous holiday allowance.

About the role

The successful Housing Governance Solicitor will be working in a successful and supportive team. You will be working closely with clients such as charities as well housing organisations on complex projects to make a positive impact in local communities and society. You will be advising on matters including, but not limited to,:

• Governance arrangements
• Social housing regulation
• Mergers
• Registrations
• Joint ventures

About the person

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified Solicitor who is either newly qualified or already has some post-qualification experience. Ideally, you already have some housing and/or charity experience but this is not essential. However, previous experience in corporate governance is expected.

You will also be a great team player, have a good eye for detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills and client focus.
