An international law firm in Birmingham are looking to add a Real Estate junior to their large and vibrant team. The role is rewarded by a top of the market salary and bonus scheme, exposure to excellent quality work and a supportive and friendly team.
About the role
The successful Real Estate Associate will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office which boasts one of the largest Commercial Property teams in the West Midlands. The firm’s national Real Estate team provide a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property with an enviable client base in the private and public sector including developers, local authorities, academic establishments and healthcare providers.
This opportunity is in the firm’s Development and Investment team whereby you will run a caseload, working towards bringing developments through their life cycle. Acting for a wide range of developers and institutional investors, you will provide strategic advice to clients on their real estate deals.
About the Real Estate Associate
Given the nature of the work, you will be a UK qualified Real Estate Solicitor with, as a guide, 0 to 2 years experience in Real Estate matters gained at a reputable firm. Experience in Development and Investment is preferable but the firm will also consider candidates with wider Commercial Property experience who have a desire to specialise in this area.
You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and due to the large volume of work you must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. You will have sound drafting and negotiating skills and will thrive when working within a team on complex matters.
