Role: Private Client Solicitor Location: Birmingham with hybrid working Remuneration: Competitive + benefits + bonus

About the Role

A Legal 500 Birmingham law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Associate to join its well-established and supportive team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Planning, and Trusts, while benefiting from strong centralised support and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a mixed caseload of wills, estate administration, and Powers of Attorney.
• Drafting documents such as Wills, Declarations of Trusts, and Deeds of Variation.
• Providing tailored advice on inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Collaborating with other teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Developing technical expertise in estate and tax planning (STEP/SFE membership beneficial but not essential).

About You:

The ideal candidate will be:

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ PQE
• Experienced in drafting Wills, administering estates, and providing inheritance tax advice.
• Familiar with creating and managing Trusts.
• Proficient with IT systems and case management tools.
• Skilled at risk management and comfortable handling a varied caseload.
• Positive, solution-focused, and eager to contribute to a multi-skilled team.
