Head of Private Client

Robert Walters are currently working with full service law firm on the outskirts of central Birmingham who are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join them to head up their growing Private Client team.

About the role

Duties of the Head of Private Client will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of Private Client matters including estate administration, trust administration, wills, LPA’s and court of protection
  • Supporting a team consisting of a Solicitor, a part-time Consultant whilst being supported by a very experienced secretary
  • A very small amount (if any) of business development as most work comes to the firm via referrals and their existing client base

About the person

Given the nature of this role, you will ideally have at least 5 years’ experience in Private Client matters. Experience of supervising/leading a team is beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic along with possessing excellent communication skills, being highly organised and exceptionally passionate about Private Client work.

The hiring firm is very well respected in the Midlands and looking to grow. This role can provide the successful candidate with genuine career potential opportunities as well as flexible working arrangements. Perks include a genuine work life balance (9am-5pm), free parking and hybrid working.
