A rare opportunity has arisen for a 2-6 year PQE Contentious Probate Solicitor/Associate to join a highly regarded national firm in their Birmingham office. This role is rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package along with the opportunity to work for one of the largest Contentious Probate teams in the country.
About the role
The successful Contentious Trusts & Probate Solicitor/Associate will gain exposure to all aspects of contentious trusts and probate work in this role including:
- Disputes over wills
- Financial provision claims
- Disputes with executors
- Dispute regarding powers of attorney
- Contested Court of Protection applications
About the person
Given the nature of the work, you will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in Contentious Trusts & Probate matters and have a real passion to want to progress in this area.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. Strong business development skills with experience in marketing in order to continue the development of this increasingly busy and expanding team is an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
