I am currently working with a very highly regarded specialist Private Client law firm in Birmingham who are looking to hire a Contentious Trusts & Probate Paralegal/Legal Executive into their growing team.
About the role
The successful Contentious Trusts & Probate Paralegal/Legal Executive will gain excellent exposure in this role and will be exposed to the following workflows:
- Challenging the validity of a Will
- Bringing a claim for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975
- Contentious Court of Protection matters
- Professional negligence claims
The successful Paralegal/Legal Executive will assist more senior members of the team with drafting legal documents, liaising with clients on the phone and resolving issues, legal research and attending hearings and meetings.
About the person
Given the nature of the work, you will ideally have at least 6 months experience in either Private Client or Contentious Trusts & Probate matters and have a real passion for this area of law.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic along with possessing excellent organisation skills, a strong telephone manner and a keen attention to detail.
It is essential that you have completed the GDL and have access to a car on a daily basis with a full and clean driving licence.
