A very rare opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a very well respected and one of the largest firms based in Birmingham as a Private Client Professional Support Lawyer (PSL).

The firm's highly regarded Private Client department are seeking to recruit a private client solicitor to provide professional legal support to their National Private Client team. The PSL will have considerable discretion in liaison with the Head of Private Client and Director of Knowledge Learning and Development.
This new role is a national one, and may be based in Birmingham. However, there will be a need to travel to the other offices.
This role would potentially suit an applicant looking for a challenging position but one with flexible working hours to fit around other commitments. It is envisaged the role would require a minimum of 25 hours per week. It is an ideal opportunity to utilise your skills and experience with a major UK law firm.
Working closely with the wider team, you should have gained a range of private client experience to assist in this new role including:
- estate planning, including wills, trusts and private tax advice
- trust administration and succession planning
- lasting powers of attorney
- probate and the administration of estates
Their specialist and large private client team is renowned for specialising in estate and succession planning.
The majority of their estate and succession planning solicitors are members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. They are also members of The Institute of Chartered Tax Advisors, Probate Section of the Law Society and Solicitors for the Elderly.
The firm are a leading national UK law firm with a significant presence in Birmingham.
As the Private Client Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) you will be a UK qualified private client solicitor (or overseas equivalent) with evidence of good quality training and experience gained from one of the UK’s leading law firms and may have a minimum of 3 years PQE but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role. There will be flexibility around how the role is resourced in terms of spreading the working hours across days, and start and finish times.
