Clinical Negligence Associate (Retrain)

Our client is a leading law firm with a national reach, offering a unique opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Associate to join their team. Candidates from a defendant insurance and personal injury will be considered for retrain. They are renowned for their commitment to social and environmental impact, making the complex simple and forging connections between clients to find creative solutions. This role offers the chance to work on behalf of a range of defendant clients, particularly acting for NHS Resolution.

What you'll do:

As a Clinical Negligence Associate, you will play a crucial role in conducting clinical negligence claims on behalf of a range of defendant clients. You will be part of a team that provides high-quality legal services on complex matters. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing your own caseload, delivering exceptional client service, undertaking legal research and participating in business development activities. You may also have the opportunity to become involved with healthcare inquest and advisory work.

• Deliver exceptional client service, including proactive, strategic and commercial management of claims
• Manage your own caseload including support on high value and complex claims in accordance with client requirements and SLAs
• Delegate and supervise tasks to more junior lawyers where appropriate
• Provide responsive secondment support to key clients – remotely and on site
• Undertake legal research, advising on the implications of new statutes, regulations, directives and case law
• Undertake business development activities, including the planning and delivery of relevant seminar and training programmes in person and online
