This role is a member of the global IS Library and Research Service Department and provides a research and reference service to lawyers and support staff and responds to queries, research, library systems and information retrieval services to ensure work is performed with departmental standards and client needs.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a law firm, preferably a top city firm previously and have a good understanding of the demands that come with it. Sound knowledge of legal resources is desired as well as advanced research techniques, enabling you to work with staff and lawyers of all levels and partners.
Please get in contact if you are comfortable in using both technology and physical library resources to conduct research to specific deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential. Knowledge of using the Sierra library management system and other resources such as Lexis, Westlaw, Kluwer, Lawtel and Justis is preferred.
The role sits within a team of two, under the Librarian & Research Services Manager. Whilst the working hours aren’t anticipated to be extensive, some flexibility to work overtime when required would be appreciated. The salary is competitive.
