Senior Paralegal - Contractor

Our client is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their dynamic Public Inquiries team.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Public Inquiries team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing an understanding of complex issues, reviewing and categorising a wide range of evidence and contracts, using e-disclosure platforms, and implementing both relevance and redaction policies. You will also use AI contract review tools to identify key contract terms and themes. Your role will require taking detailed instructions from fee earners within the team, providing regular updates on progress, instructing Counsel on key matters related to the Inquiry, and assisting on all elements of evidence gathering, collation, and publication.

* Develop an understanding of complex issues to review and categorise a wide range of evidence and contracts
* Use e-disclosure platforms and specific systems to implement relevance and redaction policies
* Utilise AI contract review tools to identify and advise on key contract terms and themes
* Take detailed instructions from fee earners within the team and provide regular updates on progress
* Instruct Counsel on key matters related to the Inquiry
* Assist on all elements of evidence gathering, collation, and publication

What you bring:

* At least 12 months experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
* Willingness to undergo SC Clearance upon employment offer
* Experience within private practice law firm is ideal but not essential
* Public Inquiries case handling experience would be desirable but not essential
* Accuracy, good organisational skills, flexibility are required
* Previous experience using Relativity, Kira or other legal technology is ideal but not essential
