We have recently been instructed by our client, a boutique law firm in the East Midlands, in relation to an opportunity for a NQ-2 PQE Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their growing team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor who is seeking a varied and challenging role, working for a very well regarded Partner in the market.
About the role
This busy Dispute Resolution team work with a broad range of clients and workflows will include the following:
- Commercial Litigation
- Property Litigation
- Commercial Contract Disputes
- Partner/Director/Shareholder Disputes
- Disputes arising out of intellectual property rights
- Landlord and Tenant Disputes
- Boundary Disputes including adverse possession
- Injunction relief proceedings
Daily tasks of the Dispute Resolution Solicitor will include handling settlement negotiations, dealing with disclosure, researching intricate points of law and assisting with business development initiatives.
About the person
The Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 6 months experience gained in a Litigation seat at a comparable firm. Candidates with more experience will also be considered.
Alongside an exceptional academic record, key skills that the Dispute Resolution Solicitor must possess include a keen attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thirst for knowledge, client focus and the ability to identify and develop appropriate networking opportunities.
