We have recently been instructed by our client, a leading full-service law firm in Solihull, in relation to an opportunity for a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor who is seeking a varied and challenging role.
About the role
This busy Commercial Litigation team undertake a broad mix of work including the following:
- Commercial and Contractual Disputes
- Franchise Disputes
- Director/ Shareholder Disputes
- Breach of Warranty Claims
- Partnership Disputes
- Shareholder Disputes
- Financial Services Claims
- Professional Negligence
- Tortious Liability Claims
Daily tasks of the Commercial Litigation Solicitor will include handling settlement negotiations, dealing with disclosure, researching intricate points of law and assisting with business development initiatives.
About the person
The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 6 months experience gained in Commercial Litigation at a comparable firm. Candidates with more experience will also be considered. In addition, the Commercial Litigation Solicitor must be a competent advocate, able to present orally and conduct negotiations when required.
Alongside an exceptional academic record, key skills that the Commercial Litigation Solicitor must possess include a keen attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thirst for knowledge, client focus and the ability to identify and develop appropriate networking opportunities.
