We have recently been instructed by our client, a leading full-service commercial law firm, in relation to an opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Litigation team based in either Nottingham or Leicester. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor who is seeking a varied and challenging role.
About the role
This busy Litigation team work with public and private sector bodies on high value and complex commercial and contractual disputes, in both the UK and internationally. The Litigation team provide a wide range of advice on general business disputes, professional negligence claims, corporate disputes as well as contentious trusts and probate including disputes over wills, financial provision claims, disputes with executors and contested Court of Protection applications.
Daily tasks of the Commercial Litigation Solicitor will include handling settlement negotiations, dealing with disclosure, researching intricate points of law and assisting with business development initiatives.
About the person
The Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Associate will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 6 months experience gained at a national or regional firm. Candidates with more experience will also be strongly considered. The Commercial Litigation Solicitor must be a competent advocate and be able to present orally and conduct negotiations when required.
Alongside an exceptional academic record, key skills that the Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Solicitor must possess include a keen attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thirst for knowledge, client focus and the ability to identify and develop appropriate networking opportunities.
