A great opportunity har arisen for an experienced litigation lawyer to join a financial services company with offices throughout Europe and in the US as its Head of Legal Collections. The role is broad and will include management responsibilities, dealing with major stakeholders and training more junior members.
- Advising on and running debt recovery matters
- Training junior lawyers
- dealing with senior stakeholders
- Having ultimate responsibility for the department, including meeting targets
- Managing instruction and performance management of external lawyers
Your Key Skills:
As the Head of Legal Collections, you will have at least 5 years PQE, however this figure is only indicative and a different level of experience will be considered if you meet the requisite standards. You will have experience with litigation matters, delivering high quality results with detailed knowledge of the regulations of the FCA and conducting litigation matters from start to finish. You must have a proven record of managing a team and dealing with issues such as profit and loss accounts, meeting targets and mentoring more junior lawyers within a team.
