Derivatives/ISDA Lawyer (German speaking) - 12mth contract

Tier 1 investment bank looking for a German-speaking Derivatives Lawyer to cover a 12 month role. This is a hybrid position with 3-4 days required in the office, based in the City.

On a day-to-day basis the role will involve:

  • Identifying necessary documentation for the clients to trade securities or OTC derivatives and perform related due diligence scans.
  • Drafting and negotiating legal documentation (included master agreements, amendments, and ancillary documents such as ISDA, GMRA, DRV, DF related documents, CDEA, ACAs etc)
  • Handling client negotiations and any related projects to ensure timely execution and completion.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders in Credit, Risk Management, Legal and Sales to negotiate contractual terms and respond to internal and external questions

To be considered for this role, you must be fluent in German and have extensive experience in master agreements, and trading agreements. ISDA, GMRA or GMSLA negotiation experience would be useful, but not essential.
