Your New Role:
An in-house construction lawyer position (largely non-contentious), reporting into an experienced General Counsel, within a well-regarded team. Going into the office in the south-east once or twice a week, you will work on construction and infrastructure projects that will have material impact on communities that the company serves. The majority of the construction contracts are based on the NEC suite, but you need not have specific NEC experience yet.
Who You Are:
You must be a qualified lawyer in E&W with construction law experience, in private practice and/or in-house, with the unrestricted right to work in the UK. As a guide you will have at least one year's PQE. You will have proven construction law experience, and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement and operational teams. You must be able to travel to the office in the south east once or twice per week. Experience from asset-rich industries such as infrastructure, utilities, nuclear and construction will be advantageous.
