About the Company:

A highly-successful international business that act as the parent company of a broad portfolio of brands in the private further education industry. Highly acquisitive, the business has a fantastic leadership team and continued ambition for acquisitive growth. The business offers a remote-first working arrangement, with occasional presence required in London at short notice.

About the Role:

A newly created, NQ Legal Counsel role, reporting into the Group General Counsel, as part of a well-respected team. Engaging with internal stakeholders at all levels, you will be trained to support with the negotiation of varied, complex and often cross-border commercial transactions, a broad range of commercial agreements, M&A transactions and other work as it arises. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working across different practice areas as a true commercial generalist.

About You:

You will be a NQ-1 PQE (as a guide) lawyer trained in private practice in England & Wales. Exposure to commercial contracts negotiation and/or corporate transactional work will be beneficial. You must have a law degree (2:1 and above) from a Russell group university and have unrestricted working rights in the UK. While the role is remote-first, you must be within easy reach of London. Please note, lawyers not trained in private practice will not be considered for this role.
