Privacy Counsel

We are looking for a commercially minded privacy / data protection lawyer who wants to be at the heart of the action in a fast-growing business on the cutting edge of sports, technology, betting and media.

This is a fantastic, and unique, opportunity for a lawyer who has strong technical knowledge of privacy and who can bring that life in an in-house setting. You will be an expert in providing comprehensive legal advice in relation to privacy and data protection with a particular strength in GDPR and international compliance.

Sports tech is an industry with law very much at the forefront so our team is always central in leading and supporting key strategic decisions and challenges facing the business on a day-to-day basis.

On a day to basis you will be:

• Leading on all privacy legal analysis and providing strategic counsel on complex privacy matters globally
• Drafting and negotiating sophisticated data processing agreements, privacy clauses and international data transfer mechanisms
• Conducting high level privacy impact assessments for new products and business initiatives
• Serving as a primary interface with regulators and handling complex data subject requests
• Supporting the launches of new products with specialised ad tech privacy guidance
• Work closely with the Privacy Manager to build out operational processes
