Senior Legal Counsel

Our client is seeking a dynamic, Senior Legal Counsel to join their global legal team. This role offers the opportunity to advise on a diverse range of commercial and technology agreement work-types, including regulatory aspects.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Legal Counsel you will play a crucial role in providing a range of legal services and advice across the organisation. You will have the opportunity to advise on a diverse range of commercial and technology agreement work-types, including regulatory aspects. Your responsibilities will also include developing best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance and providing legal advice and support to the business across various functions.

• Provide legal services and advice across various teams
• Advise on financial services regulatory regime applicable to coverage areas
• Develop and implement best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Legal Counsel role is a dynamic, qualified lawyer with 6+ PQE either in-house or private practice. You bring strong technical knowledge of general commercial/technology agreements along with experience in negotiating and advising on these agreements.

• Qualified Solicitor in the UK
• Strong technical knowledge of general commercial/technology agreements
• Experience in negotiating and advising on agreements such as professional services, sponsorship, hardware/software maintenance, SaaS/cloud services, data/index licensing
