Radius Systems is a leading provider of pipeline solutions for the gas, water, and telecom sectors. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Legal to provide strategic legal guidance and ensure compliance across all business functions.

Role Overview:

As Head of Legal you will lead the legal function and advise the Senior Leadership team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will provide strategic legal advice across commercial contracts, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This critical role supports the business in making informed, risk-based decisions, ensuring compliance in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Legal Function: Drive strategy and provide expert advice on commercial contracts, corporate transactions, and compliance.
  • Shape Our Future: Negotiate critical agreements and manage key business risks to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans.
  • Be the Legal Expert: Guide regulatory compliance in areas like data protection, health & safety, and environmental law.
  • Resolve Complex Issues: Lead on legal risk analysis, dispute resolution, and governance while collaborating with senior leaders.
  • Develop & Train: Create company-wide policies and deliver legal training that empowers teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Solicitor (8+ years PQE) with proven experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, and risk management.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused leader with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction sectors is a plus.

About the organisation

Radius Systems are trailblazers in the pipeline industry. Based in Derbyshire the role offers hybrid working with 2/3 days a week in the office.
