Role Details – In-House Legal Advisor

We are currently looking for a dynamic In-House Legal Advisor to join a well-respected Chemical Manufacturer based in Birmingham. On offer is a competitive salary, excellent quality work and the opportunity to work for a supportive team within a world leading Utilities company.

Key responsibilities of the In-House Legal Advisor

Working closely with the General Counsel across the UK and Nordic regions, with the main responsibilities being:

• Offering high quality legal advice on a wide range of legal issues, dealing mainly with commercial contracts and negotiations.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Implementing training, policies, and guidelines across the business.

Key skills required of the In-House Legal Advisor

• The successful candidate will be a UK qualified solicitor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience working in private practice or an in-house environment.
• Have a strong Commercial law background.
• Familiar with laws and regulations relating to safety, environment, and data privacy.
• Strong drafting skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
