We are supporting our client in the search for their first legal first hire, an In House Litigation Solicitor to oversee the management and operations of their rapidly expanding residential services division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a diverse and varied nationwide company, with a focus on residential property law. The successful candidate will have the chance to shape the future of the residential division, advising clients on a range of landlord and tenant matters, and playing a key role in business development activities. This is a fully remote role.
What you'll do:
As an In House Litigation Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's residential services division. Your expertise in residential property law will be crucial in advising clients on landlord and tenant matters, preparing necessary notices, handling debt recovery issues, and conducting relevant legal research. You will also have the opportunity to build and manage your own team as the division expands. Regular attendance at trade shows and events will allow you to network with industry professionals and promote the company's services. Your commitment to business development will contribute significantly to the growth of the company.
What you bring:
As an In House Litigation Solicitor, you bring valuable experience from your minimum two years post qualification practice. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to advise clients effectively and work collaboratively within a team. While previous experience managing a team is beneficial, it is not essential - what's more important is your enthusiasm for growing a business and team. Your ability to work independently will be crucial in driving the success of the residential services division.
