What you'll do:

As an In-House Commercial Property Solicitor, you will play an integral role in providing expert legal advice on a broad range of commercial property matters. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and leases while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws. Your role will also involve advising on property acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and asset management. You will liaise with external legal advisors, clients, and other stakeholders while managing legal risks associated with property transactions. Your ability to assist in resolving property disputes and handling litigation matters will be crucial.

  • Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide variety of commercial property matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to property transactions
  • Advise on property acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and asset management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant property laws and regulations
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with property transactions and operations
  • Assist in the resolution of property disputes and handle any litigation matters
  • Support the legal needs of various departments within the organisation

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this In-House Commercial Property Solicitor position is a qualified solicitor with at least five years' post-qualified experience in commercial property law. You should have strong knowledge of property law, contracts, and real estate transactions. Your proven experience in handling complex property transactions and negotiations will be essential for this role. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales
  • Minimum of 5 years' PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in commercial property law
  • Strong knowledge of property law, contracts, and real estate transactions
  • Proven experience in handling complex property transactions and negotiations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
