Our client are looking for someone with at least 8 years experience of working in a private practice construction team or who is already in-house and looking for a positive change.
Previous legal experience in the construction industry (PP or in-house) will be essential and someone who has had supervision and development of junior lawyers would be highly desirable.
Your role will be to:
participate as a member of the construction tendering and project teams
advise, draft and amend standard and bespoke contracts
review and advise on technical contract documents and influence their development to ensure legal efficacy
advise on options in respect of, and conduct resolution of claims and disputes, including agreeing negotiating strategies with the business and conducting negotiations either as part of a client led team or direct with solicitors acting for customers, contractors and suppliers
