Private Equity Funds lawyer (6-9 PQE)

On behalf of our client, a globally recognised leader in the asset management industry, we are seeking to hire a highly skilled Private Equity Funds Lawyer to join their legal team based in London. Key responsibilities:

• Manage all legal aspects of the private equity fund and product structuring process
• Lead investor negotiations and manage the investor negotiation process
• Oversee external lead counsel who perform the legal due diligence of underlying investments
• Liaise with external lead counsel, internal Tax and Legal Execution team to support investment transactional activity
• Respond to MFN elections, consents and other corporate actions in liaison with the Business
• Act as legal key stakeholder and manage relationships with the Private Equity business globally

What will make you successful?

• Demonstrable PQE (6 - 9 years) gained in private equity or a private assets funds team in a leading City or international law firm or in-house within the private equity industry
• Deep technical expertise with a range of private equity funds (including Luxembourg structures) and underlying investments globally
• Working knowledge of key features AIFMD, SFDR, SDR
• Flexible, adaptable and collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Creative thinker willing to take initiative and present solutions rather than problems
