This is a great opportunity for a derivatives lawyer looking for a broad role to join an investment management company in London as Legal Counsel. The role would offer great exposure to the entire business and work within a team that provides a key part to the day to day running and success of the business.
Key About the Derivatives Lawyer Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of contracts including investment management agreements, distribution agreements and non disclosure agreements, derivatives documentation and consulting agreements
- Reviewing and negotiating sub-investment management agreements relevant to separate accounts, UCITS and non-UCITS funds
- Ad-hoc support of the Irish funds business
- Seeking advice from external counsel on obligations relating to the UK as well as France, Germany, Holland and the Middle East
Your Key Skills:
As the Derivatives Lawyer, you will have at least 3 years experience (however a different level of experience will be considered if you meet the requisite standards) dealing with derivatives and regulatory issues. You will have technical excellence and be comfortable dealing with a range of work. You will have a core background in derivatives and regulation but also be comfortable with contract negotiation and drafting.
