My client is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Family Associate with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a proven track record in managing private caseloads. This role offers a clear path to partnership for the right candidate.

As a Senior Family Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the Family Law department, handling a diverse range of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation issues. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering outstanding client service and achieving the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied and complex private caseload of family law matters with minimal supervision.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
  • Engage in business development activities to enhance the firm's reputation and client base.
  • Leverage your existing client following to contribute to the growth of the firm.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in family law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling complex family law cases, particularly within a private caseload.
  • Strong negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload.
  • A client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • A substantial client following that will contribute to the firm’s growth and success.
  • Ambition to progress to partnership, with a commitment to the firm’s goals and vision.
